Your product may benefit from: •  design right protection •  copyright protection •  registered design protection Design Right arises automatically when you create a new 3D product. It is infringed by someone who makes a product which is copied from yours and is very similar. Copyright also arises automatically, and protects 2D aspects of design including surface decoration on products plus your engineering drawings, and product literature. Registered Designs protect articles whose appearance is important, and give stronger protection than design right.
