Trade mark searching
and watching
A trade mark registration must be obtained for each country in which protection is required. This can be done by:
•  filing separate applications in the various countries.
•  filing a European Community trade mark application which covers the whole EU.
•  filing an “International” (“Madrid Protocol”) trade mark application which allows you to cover a large number of countries in a single application.

We can help you plan your strategy and (through a network of associates) help you develop a robust trade mark portfolio around the world.
