Peter joined Miller Sturt Kenyon in 2003 and is qualified as a European Patent Attorney. Peter has also gained Associateship of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and is fluent in German and French. He is an experienced translator of German technical documents.

Peter is mainly responsible for the drafting of patent specifications and the prosecution of British, European, PCT and other patent applications. He regularly takes oral proceedings at the European Patent Office. Peter’s technical expertise covers a wide range of electrical and mechanical subject-matter. His main specialisation is electronic circuit design and he also has expertise in the fields of medical technology, display technology, printer technology and opto-electronics among others.

Before joining Miller Sturt Kenyon, Peter worked for seven years as an electronics design engineer in various industrial fields, including advanced analogue low-frequency AC-measurement circuit design. Following this, Peter joined the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich where his work as a patent examiner involved deciding on patentability, issuing examination reports and presiding over oral proceedings. Peter has also worked in the patent department of General Electric Company, later known as Marconi, and for a German firm of patent attorneys. Peter composes music in his spare time.
