Romi joined Miller Sturt Kenyon in January 2019 and is currently training to become a European Patent Attorney and a UK Chartered Patent Attorney.

Romi predominantly works on cases related to ink jet printer technology, display technology, wireless communication devices and software implemented inventions. She assists with the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in the UK, Europe and worldwide. Her experience includes working for two years at another private practice in London, where she worked with clients whose businesses focused on scientific or electronic based technology, such as semiconductor devices, telecommunications and computer hardware and software, as well as electro-mechanical products.

Before entering the profession, Romi was a postdoctoral researcher at the Thomas Young Centre, Imperial College London where her research focused on oxides for applications in magnetic refrigeration technology.

Romi has a PhD in Computation Materials Science and an MRes in Nanomaterials from Imperial, College London. Her work has been published in several notable Physics journals, including: the Journal of Applied Physics, Physical Review B, and the Journal of Physics D.
